Game Genie Codes:

It was reported that the Game Genie would not work with X2 and X3, but I found some codes on the web a while back, so here are codes for the three SNES X games.  Mind you, I’m not saying that the Game Genie codes for X2 and X3 are all that great, but they’re kinda fun ^_^

 

Mega Man X

DBBE-446F -- Start with 10 Lives

D1BE-446F --Start with 7 Lives

D0BE-446F -- Start with 5 Lives

DDBE-446F -- Start with 1 Life

D58A-1FBC -- Infinite Lives

C2B9-3404 -- Jump Higher

D4BE-47AF -- Tiny Energy Bar

D6BE-47AF -- Start with less energy

4DBE-47AF -- Start with more energy

EEBE-47AF -- Start with energy WAY above max

C2B9-1FF7 -- Infinite energy

C9B3-4769 -- Infinite Weapon Usage (non-charged only)

6DB5-CD97 -- Most enemies can be destroyed in one shot

23BD-3F07 -- Start with all weapons and all 8 Mavericks defeated

22BF-3F07 -- Start with the Fire Wave and Flame Mammoth defeated

C9B6-4769 -- Arm cannon stays extended after you shoot

C9B8-4769 -- Cross weapons. Shoot a weapon, then switch to the regular shot to get a cross weapon. Select another weapon and switch back to the regular shot to cross both special weapons. Continue the process to your liking. Works with the fireball.

D08A-1FBC -- Bogus Jump -- May revert

D58A-1FBC -- Super Jump -- May revert

DB8A-1FBC -- Mega Jump -- May revert

C2B4-1FF7 -- X is intangible to enemies

C2B7-1FF7 -- No recoil from injuries

2FB9-1D27 -- All hits take 1 bar away from your energy

9DB0-4F01 -- Automatic rapid fire

DDB0-4FA1 -- Disable weapon charging

DDB4-4F61 -- Glow brighter when charging

DDB1-4F61 -- Charge to first power level faster

DDB5-4F61 -- Level 2 won't fire

DDB8-4FA1 -- Level 3 won't fire

FDB5-CD97 -- All enemies are defeated in one X-Buster shot

6DB4-CD97 -- Enemies are invincible

6DB0-CD97 -- Some bulletproof enemies lose that attribute, while other non-bulletproof enemies become bulletproof

6DB6-CD97 -- Normal shots pass through enemies and can only injure the first enemy they hit. Level 3 and 4 shots and some special weapons continue firing until the enemy is destroyed

6DBA-CD97 --After shooting enemies enough to destroy them, you can run through them, but they can still shoot you.

 

Mega Man X2

DC2C-046D -- no dots appear when charging

DC2A-046D -- Enemies come back (like the bosses) and your shots go through them

DC21-076D -- Glitch Code: it freezes the game, and does nothing else as far as I know

EE66-D4A1 -- 1st shot suspended: Dash, then jump, then fire

0166-D4A1 -- only two shots can be on screen: again, dash, then jump, then fire

DC2A-070D -- no enemies or platforms: turn off GG to get them to come back, and turn GG off before entering boss level

 

Mega Man X3

 

EE2A-070D Messy menu--doesn't seem to affect gameplay

EE63-D4A1 Level 1 shots fired to the right start to go LEFT then do a U-turn to the right

EE62-D4A1 after firing for a while, level 1-3 shots are disabled

EE6F-D4A1 Sparkles behind level 3-5 shots fly in a straight line

EE60-D4A1 Sparkles behind level 3-5 shots fly across screen twice--
SIDE EFFECTS:
Slowdown--weak in some places, extreme in others
Junk--harmless in some cases, deadly in others
Can't use sword until a couple minutes after sparkles completely disappear
